How Does Insurance Work?
We want to provide you with further information to help determine the difference between the 2 main types of insurance:
Vision Insurance
Your vision insurance can cover some costs related to eye exams, eyeglasses, and contact lenses. Your provider will be able to provide in-depth details about your vision insurance coverage.
Medical Insurance
Medical insurance will cover only medically-related eye issues. Treatments covered by your medical insurance can include eye diseases, diabetes-related vision issues, and emergency eye exams. Contact your provider directly to determine your exact coverage.
